Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Senior Software Developer to work in the San Antonio, TX area. A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position. This is an upcoming position contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities:

• Provide programming support using all components of the Microsoft Visual Studio suite and the ability to interface and develop interfaces with Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases
• Write clear and effective software documentation
• Provide object-oriented application programming in gathering, application design, and prototyping with software and regression testing and application implementation
• Maintain current application programs and database interfaces
• Provide the required documentation to update any impacted assessment and authorization packages in accordance with mandated DoD and/or AF policies and procedures for all software products
• Ensure that all software development identifies and institutes implementation of the AF Systems Engineering Processes (SEP)
• Develop the SEP
• Ensure that the SEP documentation remains consistent with the program’s Life Cycle Management Plan (LCMP) (or legacy Product Support Master Plan (PSMP), Capability Development Document (CDD), and Capability Production Document (CPD) as program planning and execution mature
• Provide software performance, test, and evaluation support for any software packages maintained or developed within the scope of this contract, to include coordination on test plans and test procedures, performing software tests and logging test results, evaluation of test results, participation in software troubleshooting and problem resolution, and regression testing whenever software is revised
• Perform unit, system, and regression testing to all programs, modules, and systems in accordance with the approved detailed designs
• Integrate the modified software into the existing software, upon successful completion of testing
• Other support duties as needed/directed

Qualifications

Experience/Skills:

• Must have demonstrated experience working with various software security code analyzer tools.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive software developer experience in design, code, test, and implement desktop and web-based code for applications following industry accepted design methodologies
• Desired minimum of five (5) years managing and coordinating a staff in Civil or Environmental Engineering systems
• Desired minimum of five (5) years of experience writing requirements and developing test/use cases to support and validate requirements
• Desired experience with Oracle, Oracle Golden Gate and architecting Oracle Golden Gate solutions for data replication
• Desired experience configuring, managing, and sustain Azure DevSecOps platform in a DoD approved Cloud environment

Education:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related IT field

Certifications:

• Must have DoDM 8140.03 and the associated Cyber Workforce Foundation Information Assurance compliant IASAE Level II Certification

Clearance:

• Must have an Active Secret clearance, ability to gain interim Secret clearance, or hold a successfully completed a Tier 3 (T3) investigation or Tier 3 Reinvestigation (T3R).
• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
